1986 Jeep CJ7 Laredo
Last year of the CJ7
Triple Black (P1 exterior paint, black top and black 1EJ interior).
Frame-off restoration in 2016 by previous owner.
Autocheck confirms less than 65,000 original miles and no accidents.
Exterior & body:
Newer paint and Laredo graphics.
Paint has a few blemishes after 5+ years.  Easy to touch-up DIY or via paint correction shop.
Hard top has been retextured and painted.
31"x10.5" size all-terrain tires with minimal tread wear.
Original chrome wagon wheels.
Matching spare tire and wheel.
Factory bumperettes and replacement front bumper.
Restoration installed 2 small patch panels in the floor behind the seats.  See pics.  Very nice, solid job. Does not show under the carpet.  Rest of the floors are original and look great.
The undercarriage is flawless.
Mechanical:
Original 258 straight 6-cylinder with the 5-speed (T5) manual transmission
The Jeep has an upgraded Weber carb and distributor/coil.  It runs great and has significant more responsiveness/power than the factory Carter carb.
Power brakes, Jeep stops quickly and straight.
Power steering recently adjusted / tightened by Collins Brothers Jeeps.
Air conditioning works very well and is ice cold even in Texas
Interior:
Full Laredo factory interior in excellent shape: Seats, carpet, steering wheel, grab bar and door panels.
All factory working gauges.
Factory carpet is in excellent condition for 35-year old CJ carpet.
Nice Pioneer stereo with rear speakers
My summer project has been to touch-up and clean the Jeep in a few areas:
Tremendous amount of time/effort to make most everything factory correct or OEM replacements.
Removed all chrome accent pieces and replaced with factory items.
Added factory items: all hinges, side mirror brackets, hood windshield bumpers, spare tire bump stop, fuel bezel.
New OEM items: shift boot, T5 shift knob & insert, tilt steering lever, spare tire carrier hardware, door seals, door appliques and antenna.
Swapped tach and oil pressure gauge with working factory replacements.
Polished wheels and bumpers.
Other:
Jeep is located in Dallas and will show locally.
Clean title.
0 deposit with remaining balance due within a week.
