A fantastic antique Venice souvenir teaspoon made with 800 silver and enamel. Round bowl features the design of an eighteenth-cenutry quarter-ducat coin in enamel, surrounded by pierced holes and filigree filled with translucent blue and white enamel. Handle has delicate twist detail with dolphin-like sea serpent creature at the base and the Lion of Venice at the top. Measures approx. 5"l, total weight approx. 0.7oz/22g. Overall, the spoon is in good antique condition, just general wear consistent with age, tarnish, and potentially some small cracks to the enamel (no enamel observed missing, however) - see pictures. Back of bowl is stamped 800. This ornate piece would make a stunning addition to any spoon collection!
